Dr. Prof. R V Jose MA, PhD, LLB

Dr. R.V Jose has a Doctorate from the School of Management Studies, the 1st Ph.D in Economics from CUSAT. He is also a law graduate from the School of Indian Legal Thought, M.G University. Dr.Jose is a leading social scientist and an economic analyst of repute and has done extensive research on Development Economics. He has coordinated several research projects with scholars from both academic and non-academic fields. 

As a Research Guide in Economics, he has produced Ph.Ds in Economics, Commerce and Social Science. With a teaching experience of quarter of a century, he has been coordinating MBA programmes of University Study Centres, conducting research projects of Centre for Development Studies (KRPLLD), contributing as a resource person of UGC projects and refresher courses, and has published several research papers in reputed journals. He was the Professor and theHead of the Department of Economics, C.M.S. College, Kottayam.He was also the Founder Director of Mangalam Management Studies (MMS), Vishwajothi School of Management Studies (VSMS) and Regional Institute of Management Studies (RIMS). Dr. R.V Jose is the Director of Good Shepherd Centre for Legal Studies (M.G University off campus centre), Kottayam.

A powerful and motivating speaker, Dr.Jose is well recognized as an inspiring teacher and a learned researcher.Dr, Jose is the son of Late. Shri. R.V Thomas, the veteran leader of the Freedom Movement, who had served as the Member of Indian Constituent Assembly and speaker of the erstwhile Travancore State Legislature.

Prof. Alphonsa Jose MA, MBA

Prof. Alphonsa Jose was the former Head of the Department of Economics, Alphonsa College, Pala (2002-2012). She has the teaching experience of about two decades. She holds an MA degree in Economics from Kerala University and MBA from Vinayaka Mission Deemed University.She has completed two UGC Research Projects (minor) with UGC financial assistance and support.

Prof. Alphonsa was awarded the best “NSS Programme Officer Award” of the Govt. of Kerala and M.G University. Prof. Alphonsa Jose had been associated with the Indira Gandhi National Open University Programme for MBA as a resource person.She was also a Research Project Associate of Kerala Research Programme for Local Level Development(KRPLLD).
